October 22nd is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Riverside County, CA - On Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Riverside County Sheriffs' Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 12th opportunity in six years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

RCMA encourages physician offices to promote this event by talking with patients and posting announcements in the office.
