NEW BENEFIT Hi-Tech Answers: RCMA has recently partnered with HITECH Answers to be an ongoing education resource on achieving meaningful use through the use of certified EHR technology. HITECH Answers’ online portal offers a convenient place for healthcare providers to learn more about EHR adoption in an advertising-free, vendor neutral environment. At the forefront of providing independent analysis of the HITECH Act since April of 2009, they have a substantial virtual library of research, resources and tools for you to access to gain a complete understanding of the process of adopting certified EHR technology and achieving meaningful use. Their portal includes over 40 recorded e-learning sessions on topics ranging from meaningful use, HIPAA Security, workflow analysis, ICD-10 and other health IT issues impacting physicians. Inland Empire Health Information Exchange (IEHIE): The Inland Empire Health Information Exchange (IEHIE) is a collaborative of Riverside and San Bernardino County hospitals, medical centers, medical groups, clinics, IPAs, physician practices, health plans, public health and other healthcare providers. IEHIE brings needed technology to access and securely share electronic patient health records for more than 4.1 million people living in the Inland Empire.
