When a disaster strikes,
will the County be able to meet the medical needs of the community?
The Department of Public
Health, in partnership with the Riverside County Medical Association, is
seeking physicians to join the Riverside County Medical Volunteer
Program. Volunteer physicians will serve the medical/health needs of
Riverside County residents during a disaster by providing medical
assistance within their scope of practice. Volunteer physicians will be
asked to offer aid in healthcare facilities, field mobile hospitals,
points of dispensing clinics or to assist in other public health needs.
